Trauma Treatment Center Program

Trauma-Focused Treatment For Mental Health And Substance Use

A FULL CONTINUUM OF CARE

ILC’s Real Life, Real World, Real Recovery philosophy believes that individuals need to experience the realities of life during the treatment process to truly reintegrate back into daily life successfully. Our trauma-focused treatment programs offer a social learning model mirroring a family system that encourages client accountability, responsibility and self-efficacy.

TRAUMA IMPACTS SYSTEMS IN THE BRAIN RELATED TO STRESS RESPONSE, EMOTIONS, MEMORY AND HIGHER LEVEL THINKING/REASONING.

Signs of trauma include:

Individuals struggling with mental health, addictive disorders and compulsive behaviors often find it difficult, or impossible, to stop due to underlying trauma going unaddressed. Decision-making abilities are also impaired because of the disconnect that has occurred from their authentic self through continued reliance on destructive coping behaviors.

At Integrative Life Center, licensed medical, clinical, and therapeutic specialists lead our trauma treatment programming. They work in concert with an individual’s therapist, primary care physician, holistic healers, psychiatrist, and spiritual counselors. This collaborative, integrative approach results in an effective treatment plan that addresses the unique needs of the client.

Our Treatment Philosophy

At ILC, our programs are based on an integrative and holistic treatment model utilizing a multidisciplinary team approach while providing integrative, experiential, group and individual services.

Holistic healing means taking care of someone with the depth and breadth of understanding about how all aspects of a person’s life and way of living affects their health, happiness and functioning in the world. ILC works to achieve this by implementing a treatment approach grounded in:

The Interpersonal

The Intrapersonal

The Transpersonal

The Felt Sense of Self and Self Agency

Attachment Theory

Community Reintegration

Social Learning

Trauma Resolution

Positive and Humanistic
Psychology

Integrative Medicine

Experiential Therapies

Medical and Evidence Based
Modalities

These cornerstones support our approach to helping clients heal the wounds “driving” the behaviors of their presenting symptoms. At ILC, we help clients develop and strengthen their core sense of self, which enables them to manage and alleviate their symptoms and behaviors.

With this approach, clients are able to gain a deeper understanding of what brought them here and learn the skills necessary to develop a sense of self-efficacy, agency and purpose to move forward into healing, health and recovery.

Through physical, mental, emotional, cognitive and spiritual healing, we offer opportunities for self-reflection, self-awareness, and physical, emotional and mental wellness in a safe, supportive real-world setting.

A CONTINUUM OF COMPASSION

Integrative Life Center offers three distinct levels of clinical care—

1. RESIDENTIAL: AN INTEGRATIVE, HEALING EXPERIENCE

Located about 25 minutes from downtown Nashville in the serene rolling hills of Tennessee, our Residential programs on separate, gender-specific campuses offer spaces of calm and peace.

Men’s Residential Program is situated on an expansive, wooded, 5-acre estate with a large, newly renovated 11-bed rustic lodge.

Women’s Residential Program consists of two beautiful 6-bed homes located on a sprawling 25-acre estate complete with a labyrinth, yurt and walking trails.

Our Men’s Residential Intimacy Disorders Program is housed on a private, sprawling 10-acre campus with a rustic but beautiful 8-bed home, three spring-fed ponds and an abundance of wildlife.

2. MUSIC ROW RECOVERY PHP: THE SPIRIT OF THE CITY

Music Row Recovery PHP is a 25-hour/week program with supportive living for men and women located in the heart of Nashville. This level of care can serve as a step down, step up, or a step in. It’s a natural transition down from residential care, at ILC or elsewhere; an increased level of programming and support from an IOP or sober living; or a starting point for those beginning their journey to wellness and recovery. Music Row PHP provides gender specific housing for men and women and are located within steps of our clinical office on Music Row where weekday programming occurs.

3. MUSIC ROW RECOVERY IOP: REINTEGRATION TO THE REAL WORLD

Music Row Recovery Intensive Outpatient Program is considered the third transitional step in bridging from treatment to integrating back into the real world. Programming occurs at our clinical office on Music Row and gender-specific housing is available if desired.
