Music Row PHP.

For many, Music Row PHP is a next step following time spent in our Morningstar Residential Program. It can also be an extended care option from another residential treatment center OR a starting point for those who are just embarking on their healing journey.

Clients participate in Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) level care and receive a customized treatment plan aligned with their progress and goals. If transitioning from Morningstar Residential programming, participants will keep their same treatment team for continuity of care throughout their stay. At the PHP level clients may have access to their own cars, mobile phones and laptops. This is determined by the treatment team with the client, on a case-by-case basis. In addition to programming, clients in PHP are expected to attend five outside meetings—12-step meetings (including ACA, SLAA, EDA, etc.), SMART, Refuge Recovery, NAMI, spiritual or other—per week.

PHP supportive housing is located within walking distance from the ILC clinical office on Music Row. We provide two beautiful, 8-resident historical homes, gender separate for men and women. An awake Resdient Assistant supervises each house 24-hours a day. We reserve Music Row housing for those participating in programming at ILC and is an option both PHP and IOP clients.

From day one, our medical team assesses, treats and evaluates each client from a biological perspective to ensure optimal health and benefit from program participation. Clients have access to ILC’s medical services and staff Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. They are also introduced to a primary care physician who specializes in trauma-informed addiction and mental health services at our onsite medical clinic, Integrative Health Centers, who can continue providing in-network primary medical care after discharge from ILC.

PHP clients receive 25 hours of group therapy per week lead by skilled master’s level therapists, as well as two weekly individual sessions with their primary therapist. Therapeutic modalities may include:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Brainspotting
  • Trauma-Informed Yoga
  • Psychodrama
  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)Skills
  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
  • Equine Therapy
  • Low Ropes Course
  • Sweat Lodge
  • Meditation
  • Breathwork
  • Art Therapy
  • Music Therapy
  • …and more!

Additionally, the programming includes integrative therapies such as body work, massage and acupuncture.

Clients receive life skills education in areas like nutrition, culinary skills, and personal finances. Weekday lunches are catered through our Healing Foods Program, and clients provide their own morning, evening and weekend meals. We provide community dinners once a month. They also receive a complimentary YMCA membership to enhance their physical and recreational activity experience.

Music Row PHP is an immersive experience of growth and independence. You don’t retreat or hide from the challenges of the real world, but rather learn to face them in a safe and trustworthy environment designed to successfully integrate you back into your life.
