Job Title: Residential Director
Reports to: Director of Clinical Services

Integrative Life Center is growing! We’re seeking a Residential Director to lead our growing team of Residential Assistants (RA’s) and other housing staff. This is a pivotal role that oversees all aspects of the ILC client experience (outside of clinical and medical programming hours or individual appointments with ILC providers), including client schedules, transportation, housing, advocacy and all other customer service-oriented experiences.

The Residential Director will perform day-to-day management of the residential program including management of nonclinical staff, monitoring the maintenance of the sites and buildings, and reporting to Director of Clinical Services and Administration.

Work hours will typically be from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with time split between various Integrative Life Center residences.  However, it is expected that during the first few months this position may work varied shifts and days to quickly gain knowledge of ILC’s needs and be available to the growing staff.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Training, supervising and managing a large number of individuals which could include professionals and paraprofessionals who are responsible for the direct care of adult clients
  • Daily documentation and caseload management in accordance with Integrative Life Center policies and procedures
  • Interviewing and hiring of candidates for residential staffing
  • Ensures that client records are accurate, adequate, and current as per State and other accrediting bodies as well as Integrative Life Center policies and procedures
  • Identifies the professional and clinical skill development needs of staff members and provides assistance and training as needed
  • Team building with his/her staff and with other departments
  • Initiating and setting goals for the residential programs according to the strategic objectives of the organization
  • Initiating, planning and managing programmatic offerings within the programs such as life skills opportunities, outdoor recreation, nightly engagement activities (including but not limited to recovery support meetings) and weekend activities (including but not limited to recovery support meetings)
  • Implementing safety and risk management protocols within the residential facilities
  • Coordination within the clinical services department (therapy, nutrition, nursing) as well as with other departments (medical, admissions business development/marketing, and administration) to ensure that residential clients are receiving consistent care and treatment throughout all program offerings
  • Completing all paperwork required to comply with State licensing rules and regulations, CARF and all other licensing and/or accreditation bodies;
  • Developing and managing all residential facilities, budgets and operations to include but not limited to: residential staff scheduling, ensuring all elements of the residential programs are delivered as planned, buildings and grounds oversight, providing clinical services as needed, arranging transportation and transfers for clients, and other duties as assigned
  • Community outreach and networking to create access to resources within the community, this includes participating as a member of TNARR and ensuring membership compliance

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Masters Degree and license (or license eligible) in a relevant field such as psychology, social work, professional counseling or related discipline
  • Proven experience working with adults with co-occurring disorders in a residential setting, preferably in both direct care and management capacities
  • Thorough understanding of program management techniques and methods
  • Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and key metrics
  • A proven ability to demand accountability and to be accountable for assigned duties
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills and abilities
  • Excellent communication skills

Treatment at ILC is about transformation – transforming your life by engaging in a recovery program that focuses on healing mind, body, and spirit. We provide a full continuum of care which includes Residential, Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and commuter programming. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in psychology, social work or related field
  • Licensed (or license eligible and actively pursuing licensure) as a professional counselor, marriage and family therapist or clinical social worker
  • Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in private practice or treatment center setting
  • Strong communicator, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to demonstrate understanding of a variety of models and theories of addiction, eating disorders, trauma, mental illness, and related issues
  • Knowledge of philosophies, practices, policies and outcomes of models of treatment, recovery, relapse prevention, and continuing care for dually diagnosed populations
  • Understanding of diagnostic criteria for co-occurring conditions and ability to conceptualize modalities and placement criteria within the continuum of care
  • Understanding of diverse cultures and gender specific issues and ability to incorporate needs of gender and culturally diverse groups into practice setting

Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A valid LPN license for the state of Tennessee (or compact state)
  • A minimum of 5 years nursing experience, with two of those focused on behavioral health clientele (residential setting preferred)
  • Experience with substance use disorder treatment, including identification, monitoring, monitoring of signs/symptoms of detox as well as performing CIWA and COWS assessments
  • Experience with monitoring and documentation specific to clients with eating disorders
  • Experience working with clients with mental health diagnoses such as major depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder
  • Valid BCLS certification
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite
  • Impeccable observation skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to verbally empathize and deescalate high stress situations and individuals
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change
  • Willingness to participate as part of an integrative treatment team
  • Experience in various clinical modalities of client care from a behavioral health perspective
  • Flexibility with varying priorities throughout the assigned shift
  • Ability to triage situations for acuity and notify the Director of Nursing when deemed appropriate
  • Willingness to rotate “on call” with other nursing staff on a rotation for after hours and weekend issues


Duties and Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Collection, tracking and maintaining client history, recording new data each shift
  • Collecting and documenting client vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, respirations, temperature) daily and as needed, reporting any abnormalities to the Director of Nursing

  • Collecting urine drug screens and client weights as directed, documenting and reporting results

  • Communicating changes in level of client status to Director of Nursing, overseeing physician, or on call medical staff

You will play a pivotal role in the everyday responsibilities, tasks and interaction with our valued clients. You will be responsible for a variety of support tasks that are essential to the healing and therapeutic environment of ILC by monitoring and overseeing patient compliance with our program.

The RA assists in client orientation to the ILC facility and program, often being the primary point of contact during residency and providing emotional support and assistance to clients in crisis (under the direction of our highly capable and experienced clinical team). You will participate in transporting and supervising clients to and from their activities, monitor their attendance and participation in those activities, and assist with any self-administration of their medications. You will also participate in any activities or therapies as needed (and is appropriate) and contribute to any performance improvement processes as directed.

Job Title: Housekeeper
Reports to: Residential Director

Integrative Life Center is growing! We are seeking two full time housekeepers to care for our Midtown residences and our West Nashville residences. The Midtown residences require deep cleaning 1-3 times per month; the West Nashville residences require regular cleaning of shared spaces. All residences would require deep cleaning of bedrooms during client transitional periods, as well as deep cleaning before referent tours.

The ideal candidates for these roles are reliable, trustworthy, hardworking, communicative, and respectful of client privacy and circumstances. Applicants should have reliable transportation and a clean driving record. Confidentiality is required for this position.

Details

All housekeeper positions are full-time, M-F, 8-5 and report directly to the Residential Director. Compensation is dependent on experience.
