INTEGRATIVE LIFE CENTER OPENS RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM FOR MEN
NEW PROGRAM EXPANDS BEHAVIORAL HEALTH PROVIDER’S CONTINUUM OF PERSONALIZED CARE FOR THOSE WITH MENTAL HEALTH AND ADDICTION DISORDERS
NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE (September 2, 2020) – Integrative Life Center (ILC), a nationally recognized treatment center for mental health and substance use disorders, today announced that it has opened a residential program for men, a complement to the residential program it opened for women in February of this year.
“Now that ILC has residential programs for both women and men, we can serve all of our clients at every stage of their recovery, providing wraparound support when they transition from one stage to the next,” said Ryan Chapman, CEO of Integrative Life Center. “Transitions can increase vulnerability. Seeing familiar faces, continuing program participation, and keeping with same treatment philosophy offer a level of consistency that helps clients maintain their healing momentum as they move from residential to outpatient care, and beyond.”
The men’s residential program occupies a newly renovated home in a peaceful, private location. It features 8 beds, medical and therapists’ offices, along with group spaces for dining and weekday and weekend programming.
Part of the national recovery community for over a decade, ILC integrates evidence-based methods with non-traditional approaches in a holistic program for clients to achieve lasting recovery of body, mind, and spirit. The community reintegration model provides personalized treatment plans, so clients can progress at their own pace in a real-world environment.
ILC provides multi-disciplinary, evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), comprehensive resource model (CRM), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), EMDR and motivational interviewing, as well as adventure, spiritual and experiential methods, such as mindfulness, acupuncture and yoga; journaling; kayaking and low ropes course; music, art and equine therapies; and more.
ILC has a thorough protocol for keeping clients safe during this pandemic that includes testing clients for COVID-19 upon admission, providing a supervised quarantine environment with telehealth services until the client is cleared to join group therapies.
