The Morning Star is brightest source of light in the night sky as the horizon transitions from darkness to the first rays of dawn. In Native American culture, the Morning Star represents new beginnings, hope, and guidance.
Morning Star is our clinically intensive primary program, that utilizes a community based treatment approach for both men and women. With the residences located on 25 wooded acres, and accessibility to the Nashville community within minutes; our community based approach combines the best of residential and real world experiences. Our clients learn how to "do recovery" while living in a therapeutically supportive, structured community with a high level of personal accountability.
ILC's Morning Star Program offers a variety of real world experiences for those looking for long term recovery from trauma, addictions, disordered eating, and other mental health disorders.
Our comprehensive program includes:
-25+ hours of therapy weekly with experienced masters level or above clinical staff.
-Individual, group and family therapy (gender separate as well as mixed gender groups)
-Evidence based therapy approaches (CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, process groups, equine, adventure based and other experiential therapies)
-Complementary approaches (breathwork,yoga, mindful meditation, massage/ bodywork, art, music, acupuncture)
-Nutritional assessment, counseling and education along with supported meals for both men and women with disordered eating.
-Spirit Recovery (introduction to spiritual practices including the labyrinth, Native American medicine wheel ceremonies, sweat lodges, variety of 12-Step meetings, Refuge Recovery meetings, SMART Recovery meetings)
-24/7 awake staff
-On site nursing staff
Amenities provided in the house include all of the benefits of a comfortable, upscale living environment. Residents are supported by professional staff who are available to clients 24/7.

Residents have access to 25 acres of walking trails, woods, low-ropes courses, streams and an onsite organic garden to support physical health and well being.
Life skills education is provided to all residents on topics such as healthy communication, healthy eating, spirituality and relapse prevention.
recreation & leisure
Morning Star offers access to fire circles, sweat lodges, on-site art studio, and other community-oriented ceremonies.
supported meals & nutrition
Three supported meals provided daily, including meal plan monitoring and assistance with grocery shopping.
Transportation is provided daily to meet client needs, including to therapy sessions at the Integrative Life Center, local support and recovery meetings, and other leisure activities.
