Integrative Therapeutic Massage – Rest and relaxation is the focus of this therapy. Traditional Swedish techniques of long, gliding, flowing strokes using light to firm pressure. This massage is designed for total relaxation to calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and promote venous blood flow back to the heart. If you need focused work or just want healing touch, this therapy consists of a variety of modalities integrated within the style of a relaxing massage.
Neuromuscular/Trigger Point Therapy – Therapy is designed around your specific structural issue with a plan formulated to get you on your way to your desired outcome. Geared towards acute and chronic pain dysfunctions, this therapy utilizes neuromuscular, trigger point, and myofascial release techniques. This therapy begins by assessing postural distortions as well as everyday biomechanics and life stresses. A plan is then developed to work on any imbalances and give the musculoskeletal and nervous system an improved communication. Thai Massage – Thai massage uses passive stretching and gentle pressure along the body’s energy lines (sen lines) to increase flexibility, relieve muscle and joint tension and balance the body’s energy systems. Thai massage is both deeply relaxing and energizing. Thai massage takes place on a mat on the floor, and you wear loose fitting clothing. The therapist uses gentle compression and stretching techniques to open up your body, beginning with you legs. You will be placed your into various positions without any work on your part (some of the postures are yoga poses). Thai massage is an ancient healing art that has its roots in spiritual tradition with its purpose being to heal a person physically, emotionally and spiritually.
